Disappointing to be a Twins Fan My weekend was actually pretty low key. The highlight of the weekend was supposed to be a Saturday afternoon spent at the ballpark, watching our favorite major league baseball team, the Minnesota Twins, play. While that was the most interesting thing we did over the course of the weekend, it wasn’t particularly enjoyable, seeing as how the Twins have found it rather difficult to win games as of late. This game was no exception, as they gave up a lot of runs and had a very hard time scoring any runs. We left the game early, which is a rarity for us, but the game was dragging on very slowly and we had no interest in sticking around to see more of this poorly played game. We got a pizza for dinner, and spent the evening at home, catching up on a variety of shows that we had on our Tivo box: Leverage, Ace of Cakes, In Plain Sight, and Survivorman. Honestly (and sadly), the evening at home watching TV was probably the most enjoyable part of the weekend – just spending time with my husband and relaxing at home.
